Registration is now open for the New Jersey State Library’s 2012 New Directors’ Orientation. The workshop will be held on February 22 & 29, 2012 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.

The next stop on the NJ State Library on the Go Tour is Sparta Public Library, 22 Woodport Road, Sparta, NJ 07871 on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Come visit the library for an informal "meet and greet" with the NJSL Library Development Bureau and BTOP staff from 10 am - 11 am, coffee and brunch at 9:30 am. Staff members from neighboring libraries are particularly welcome to attend.

The New Jersey State Library is sponsoring free, face-to-face training sessions designed to help you show your business clients how they can use ReferenceUSA.

The New Jersey State Library holds an annual workshop for new library directors that provides professional orientation and networking opportunities. We have just added a new page to the State Library website devoted to information about this orientation, including downloadable materials from past workshops.
