Autographics will be upgrading JerseyCat next Tuesday or Wednesday evening with some small changes to make your daily tasks easier. They have also made some changes to the splash screen and Iluminar interface setups. I will be summarizing these changes through webinars after the upgrade occurs. It is now time to give the new JerseyCat customer interface your library's look and feel. If you would like to add your library's logo, add your library's instructions, or make changes in placement of information on the screen, register for one of these webinars.

It is becoming increasingly important for you to be certain that you have entered your library's Lending Policy information into your Participant Records. To do this you need to go to:

JerseyCat User Group sessions are scheduled for October. A session is planned for each region to discuss recent changes to JerseyCat, to look ahead to the future, and to talk about opportunities for JerseyCat members. It is important for the JerseyCat community to come together for these sessions to provide communication and learning among users of the system.

A major upgrade to JerseyCat will occur March 23-24 that will include many new features to JerseyCat. I will provide an introduction to these new features through a webinar series. These are VERY IMPORTANT sessions for someone to attend if your library uses JerseyCat to borrow and/or lend. Please register for the session that is most convenient for you.

Cut down on the amount of time it takes to process interlibrary loan requests. Learn how to use the new bookstrap feature that prints bookstraps with all of the information you need to give your customers about their interlibrary loan items.

The most recent release of JerseyCat allows you to customize the home screen for your library's customers with your local information. If you haven't learned about this feature, take a lesson via an upcoming webinar. It's easy and will take only an hour of your time to learn how to accomplish this.
